The budget for FIRE LAKE has been professionally evaluated and set for ~$8 million. A contained drama with a small cast allows for a larger percentage of the budget to go to talent. (or -- Mel Brooks takes Ferris Bueller to Wall Street.)
REWOUND (2023)
Time travel may not be possible. But what about taking a piece of the universe -- Earth, for example -- and raveling it back to an earlier state? Danielle Bohm, a physicist, does that in order to undo some of the damage caused by the Nazis. But failure after failure, and the knowledge that her son back in present day will die in one day without a blood transfusion from her, drives her onward with unexpected results.
